Processing of personal data

Cofunding Group with CVR:25150260 "the Company" is responsible for given personal data and is responsible for the processing of personal data that takes place in relation to the Company's marketing platform.This privacy policy explains how the Company collects, uses, discloses and stores your personal information. Customers' trust is of the utmost importance to us, and Cofunding Group therefore takes responsibility for protecting your privacy. All processing of personal data takes place based on the provisions of the data protection regulation (EU, General Data Protection Regulation) and we do everything we can to protect your personal data from unauthorized access.

How we process personal data

The Company mainly process your personal data for the purpose of providing and administering our services and to communicate with you by sending direct marketing or market research. We may also disclose personal data to partners in order to fulfill our commitments. Social security numbers are registered in order to achieve a secure identification of you as an investor. We process your personal data based on the following legal grounds: The processing is necessary:

  • to fulfill an agreement to which the data subject is a party or to take measures at the request of the data subject before entering into such an agreement,
  • to fulfill legal obligations, such as preventing fraud and similar criminality in transactions, 
  • for purposes related to the legitimate interests of the data controller. The legitimate interest of Cofunding Group is to carry out direct marketing of its services and products, and
  • to fulfill obligations towards customers and offer services that have taken place through consent.

Cofunding Group processes personal data such as such as your name, e-mail address, telephone number, home address, social security number and bank account details. The data collected is directly from you when you registered on our website or from subscription forms. We can also collect information about how you use our website through so-called cookies. We strive to process as little personal data about you as possible based on the purpose of the processing. Pepins is the recipient of personal data that is transferred from clients or partners. Cofunding Group receives such personal data to be able to provide you with our services, which includes your name, email address, telephone number and home address, social security number, bank account details and user settings. The legal basis for obtaining personal data from others 1 Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free flow of such data. 

Your personal data will only be disclosed to the extent that it is relevant to be able to achieve the purpose of the commitments. Cofunding Group may hire personal data assistants to perform certain tasks, such as operation and support of the IT environment, archiving and for sending e-mail. This means that the personal data assistant also gets access to certain information about you as a registered user. However, these parties may not process your personal data for any purpose other than those that we specify. Pepins will disclose personal data to clients or partners, for marketing purposes or in relation to issues, at any time.

If we transfer your personal data to a personal data processor in a third country, we take appropriate protective measures and ensure that transferred data is handled in accordance with applicable law. We sign agreements with our data processors, containing clauses approved by the European Commission regarding data protection, in order to ensure that they meet the necessary level of data protection. Personal data may also be disclosed if it is necessary to comply with applicable legal requirements or requirements from authorities, to safeguard Cofunding Groups legal interests or to detect, prevent or draw attention to fraud and other security or technical problems. We will not share, sell, transfer or otherwise disclose personal information beyond what is stated in this privacy policy, unless we have a legal obligation to do so.

Your personal data is only kept for as long as there is a need to keep it to fulfill the purposes for which the data was collected, as well as according to current legislation that the business is covered by. We may save the data longer if it is necessary to comply with legal requirements or to protect legal interests, for example if there is a legal process in progress. By terminating your account with us, your personal data will be deleted or de-identified, except for such information that we are required by law to retain.

You also have the right to object to the processing of your personal data and also request that we correct, limit the processing or delete personal data in accordance with what is stated in the data protection regulation. You also have the right to, in certain cases, request that the personal data you have provided to us be moved to another personal data controller (so-called data porting). You also have the right to withdraw your consent for processing at any time, in the event that the processing of personal data has consent as a legal basis. In the event that personal data is processed for direct marketing, you have the right to object to such processing. If you believe that the processing of your personal data is contrary to the data protection regulation, you have the right to submit a complaint to the supervisory authority, which in Sweden is the Privacy Protection Authority.
